The KERALUX® Care Lotion V (250ml) is specially designed for conditioning leather that has been tanned with various vegetable tanning extracts.
Vegetable-tanned leather is not tanned with chromium salts, but with various vegetable tanning substances. These extracts can come from the bark of oak and chestnut trees, olive leaves or even fruits.
This type of leather becomes darker with use and develops a desirable "patina", but it can also be adversely affected by using incorrect cleaning or conditioning products. It is especially important not to clean vegetable-tanned leather with water.
It is often best to first clean the leather with the KERALUX Cleaner V (cleaner for vegetable-tanned leathers). You can use the LCK Cleaning Glove to safely dust between treatments, but as mentioned above, do not use water to clean vegetable-tanned leather as it can cause damage.
